Mahdi Babaei referred to an important and vital issue in today's Tehran City Council meeting; the Jannat Bazaar project, which needs attention and acceleration in its implementation process after the fire incident last February.
Remembering the Services of the Late Bani Hassan
Babaei began his remarks by expressing sorrow over the passing of Mohammad Bani Hassan, the former director general of Welfare, Cooperatives, and Social Services of Tehran Municipality, and reminded that the services of this late figure have been very valuable in the context of jihad and martyrdom. He mentioned the installation of the images of the martyrs of resistance and also the numbering of electric poles along the route from Najaf to Karbala and said: "It is appropriate to honor the memory of this late revered figure."

Necessity of Accelerating the Implementation of the Jannat Bazaar Project
After this reminder, Mahdi Babaei addressed the necessity of accelerating the construction of the Jannat Bazaar and stated that the necessary follow-ups have been carried out since February. He announced that the new location for this bazaar has been identified and the responsible authorities in the Job Organization have also promised to hand over this location to the respected merchants within a month.
However, Babaei expressed concern that the physical progress of the project is only 70 percent, which indicates a significant delay compared to the planned schedules. He emphasized: "My request from the responsible authorities is to complete this project as soon as possible with a jihadist approach so that the organization of the respected merchants of the Jannat Bazaar can reach a conclusion as soon as possible."
