Lotfollah Forouzandeh, the Deputy for Coordination and Regional Affairs of the Mayor of Tehran, emphasized the need to shift urban management towards a "neighborhood-based" approach during the ceremony honoring employees who played a significant role in the funeral of the martyr leader. This event was attended by Mehdi Salehi, the mayor of District 2, along with other managers and employees of the municipality.

Transformational Perspectives in the Municipality

Forouzandeh referred to the transformational perspectives regarding the municipality and stated: "Although people may view the municipality as an institution with various approaches, recent crisis experiences have shown that the municipality is an efficient and empathetic institution with the people in critical moments." He also identified livelihood as one of the most vital current priorities and expressed that urban management, alongside its construction duties, is seriously pursuing a supportive role in improving living conditions.

The Necessity of Strengthening Social Resilience

The Deputy Mayor of Tehran further pointed to the necessity of strengthening "social resilience" against economic damages and psychological warfare, stating: "Activating networks for the production and distribution of goods at the neighborhood level and the continuous presence of managers among the people must be seriously pursued to create a wave of economic calm and trust within the neighborhoods." He also has a plan to activate 360 neighborhoods in Tehran to provide a platform for social interactions and cultural programs.

Forouzandeh emphasized the importance of maintaining green spaces and urban infrastructure, stating: "The credibility of an organization lies in its responsiveness and understanding of the people's needs." Mehdi Salehi, the Mayor of Tehran, also referred to Tehran's central role as the "center of resistance and power of the country" and stated that urban management has not retreated from the progress of projects despite challenges and has made every effort to fulfill commitments to the citizens.

Performance Report of the Construction Headquarters

During this ceremony, Salehi presented a report on the performance of the "Construction Headquarters" and announced the completion of services related to 4,270 damaged units. He also stated that the process of temporary housing and supportive services has been fully completed, and projects for the renovation of dilapidated areas and the issuance of building permits are underway.

Salehi referred to the establishment of 21 headquarters of Iran Victory and said: "Given the importance of the security and food livelihood headquarters, a center in Nahj al-Balagha Park has been prepared for operation." Additionally, squares such as "Shahid Tehrani Moghadam Square," "Sanat Square," and "Sama Square" have been recognized as strategic squares that play a significant role in creating urban dynamism and social interactions.

At the end of this ceremony, the tireless efforts of the municipality employees and the active role of the personnel in organizing the funeral of the martyr leader were acknowledged. Furthermore, appreciation was expressed for colleagues who have joined the ranks of retirees and for those who have participated in the blessed phenomenon of childbirth, contributing to the development of the community's human resources.
