Ismail Baqai, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, detailed various aspects of regional and diplomatic developments in today's press conference on Tuesday, November 1. He emphasized that developments in the West Asia region, especially around the issue of occupied Palestine, continue, pointing to the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza and Lebanon, stating: "Just yesterday, more than 10 Palestinians were martyred."
The Dire Situation of Palestinian Refugees
Baqai also referred to the situation of Palestinian refugees in Gaza, saying: "On the brink of winter, the situation and problems of Palestinian refugees are catastrophic. Unfortunately, European countries and the international community have become somewhat numb in the face of these crimes. We are facing an extraordinarily dangerous phenomenon that normalizes crime and slaughter."

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also pointed to the responsibilities of international organizations regarding these crimes, stating: "The United Nations and regional bodies must take a stance against these crimes. We always emphasize that every life lost means the destruction of a human life."
Diplomatic Developments Between Iran and the United States
Continuing, Baqai referred to the diplomatic developments between Iran and the United States, saying: "The visit of the Deputy Foreign Minister to Doha was aimed at facilitating interactions between the mediator and Iran. There are very complex issues at play, and time adds to their complexity. Iran has reasonably conveyed its demands to the American side, and the implementation of these demands is essential for restoring security to the region."
He also responded to a question about the change in the negotiating team, stating: "The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council has clearly explained the matter. Our negotiator is Mr. Qalibaf, and the cohesion and solidarity among decision-makers have been unprecedented."
Baqai concluded the press conference by referring to a recent letter from the U.S. Vice President, saying: "The difference in the tone of correspondence is natural, but the criterion for the Islamic Republic of Iran's judgment is the actual performance of the U.S. government. Experience has shown that Washington not only lacks initiative in diplomacy but has also destroyed every opening that has been created for diplomacy."
