Iran has been recognized as the third best country in the world in the field of reproductive medicine. Hamid Chobineh, the President of the Scientific Association of Embryology and Reproductive Biology of Iran, praised the tireless efforts of researchers and the younger generation in this field and said: "Despite research challenges, the determination of specialists and young researchers has been able to elevate Iran's scientific position in this area."

Achievements of the Iranian Embryology Association

At the general assembly of the Scientific Association of Embryology and Reproductive Biology of Iran held at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Chobineh referred to the statements of the Deputy Minister of Health for Research at the Royan Congress and added: "Iran, backed by the efforts of the younger generation and specialists in reproductive medicine, ranks among the top three countries in the world, and this success is a source of national pride."

He also announced the elevation of this association's scientific status in the new evaluations of the Ministry of Health and said: "Continuous research activities, holding specialized symposiums, and expanding scientific interactions have been effective factors in achieving this status."

Approval of Membership of Embryologists in the Medical System

Chobineh referred to the achievements of this association in the field of pricing infertility treatment services over the past three years and said: "In the past year and a half, more than 10 expert meetings have been held with the Supreme Insurance Council and senior health system officials, resulting in a significant increase in infertility treatment tariffs, from 100% to over 100%."

He also stated the approval of the membership of embryology graduates in the Medical System Organization as another important professional achievement. This demand faced numerous administrative and expert obstacles for years, and Chobineh emphasized that with the continuous follow-up of specialized associations in fertility, infertility, and embryology, this issue was finally approved after two years of review.

Chobineh also reported on the expansion of the association's cooperation with knowledge-based companies and domestic medical equipment manufacturers and said: "Supporting Iranian technologies and products is one of the main policies of the association, but this support should not come at the expense of reducing the quality of services or jeopardizing patient health."

In conclusion, the President of the Scientific Association of Embryology and Reproductive Biology of Iran emphasized the regular holding of general assemblies, the participation of members in decision-making, and the implementation of legal resolutions, and stressed the continuation of scientific and professional activities to enhance infertility treatment services.
