Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, attended the ceremony for the beginning of the 1406-1405 school year this morning (Monday, September 30) and rang the bell to signal the start of the new school year. He encouraged students by saying: “I, who stand here now as President, have come from an ordinary family and a working background. If you set your mind to it, you can become the best.”

Teachers and Officials' Efforts to Improve Education

Pezeshkian further noted that teachers and officials will also strive to ensure that students receive a good education. He emphasized: “A person can only not reach the status of God; otherwise, they can reach anywhere they desire.” This was the message he conveyed to students to have faith in their abilities and take steps towards progress.

Collaboration to Solve the Country's Problems

The President expressed hope for the future, saying: “We can gain knowledge and skills and solve the problems of the people, families, neighborhoods, cities, the country, and even the world's problems. We can, and you can. We trust you and are devoted to you, and we will do everything we can to help you reveal the gold within you. You are more valuable than gold.”

Pezeshkian also referred to his desire to help the people and said: “I want to help all the people of my country. I want to be friends with everyone. I want to be of assistance to the people and my country in any way I can. You can join hands with us and build Iran.”

He stated that “I can be the best or the worst. You can be the best or the worst; the choice is yours, and it requires effort,” emphasizing that hard work is the key to success. He added: “A person does not reach anywhere without effort. They must work hard and strive to achieve something. They must study, learn, and solve problems.”

In conclusion, Pezeshkian stated that this year's motto for the first of Mehr is that students must solve problems, urging them to think about the issues they can address. He said: “Think and solve problems. You can solve problems alone, and you can do it together. But when you unite, you can work better. I hope you succeed.”
