Mohammad Mahdi Razazadeh, CEO of the Central Technical Inspection Headquarters of Tehran, emphasized the importance of improving the quality of services provided to citizens while announcing the renovation and capacity increase of technical inspection centers. This plan will be implemented from the beginning of November this year and is designed to improve the conditions of vehicle technical inspections in Tehran.

Renovation of Technical Inspection Infrastructure and Equipment

During the sixth term of municipal management and with the guidance of the Mayor of Tehran, the project to renovate 32 lines of light vehicle technical inspections and 3 lines of heavy vehicle technical inspections has begun. The budget for this project exceeds one million dollars, and its goal is to upgrade technical inspection machinery to meet global standards. Razazadeh further added: "This plan for the renovation and upgrading of mobile technical inspection units for light vehicles will also be implemented using the capacity of the private sector."

Temporary Suspension of Mobile Units and Increase in Working Hours

The CEO of the Central Technical Inspection Headquarters of Tehran referred to the temporary suspension of the activities of previous mobile units and said: "Until the new units are prepared and replaced, the activities of the current mobile units will be temporarily halted." He also emphasized that efforts are being made to return these units to service as soon as possible.

In order to continue services to citizens, the working hours of the light vehicle technical inspection centers of Tehran Municipality have been increased from the beginning of November. Razazadeh stated: "All centers are required to accept the last citizen who visits."

On the other hand, Razazadeh has informed the owners of vehicles that were rejected during their first visit to the mobile units via SMS and phone calls so they can visit the active centers within the legal deadline of 14 days. According to him, the installation of informational banners at the mobile unit locations to raise awareness among citizens has also been planned.

The CEO of the Central Technical Inspection Headquarters of Tehran concluded by thanking citizens for their cooperation and urged them to check the official website of the Technical Inspection Headquarters or call the response system at 96006000 for information on the status of the centers before visiting.
