Car prices in Iran faced a significant increase on Sunday, October 5, 1405. While the exchange rate continues to be recognized as the main influencing factor in the car market, price expectations among buyers and sellers have been severely affected. This rise in prices has currently become one of the main challenges in the car market.
Increasing Price Trend in the Car Market
During today's transactions, both domestic and assembled cars faced significant price increases. In the domestic car market, various models were traded with price increases between 4 to 60 million Tomans. For example, the manual Tara saw a 60 million Tomans increase, reaching a price of 2 billion and 330 million Tomans, recording one of the highest increases today.

Additionally, the dual-fuel Sorena Plus with a large capsule also increased by 40 million Tomans, reaching 2 billion and 440 million Tomans. The 6-speed Dena Plus increased by 10 million Tomans and was traded at 2 billion and 450 million Tomans. The automatic Peugeot 207 also saw a 50 million Tomans increase, reaching 2 billion and 950 million Tomans.
Price Increases in the Assembled Car Sector
In the assembled car market, price increases were even higher than those of domestic cars. The electric Phoenix FX saw a 250 million Tomans increase, reaching 6 billion and 800 million Tomans, recognized as the highest price increase today. The 7-seater Fidyliity Elite also increased by 30 million Tomans, reaching 5 billion and 960 million Tomans.
The Mazda 3 and the zero-kilometer Lucano L8 also saw price increases of 40 and 20 million Tomans, respectively, reaching 9 billion and 350 million Tomans and 11 billion and 30 million Tomans. This upward trend indicates high demand pressure in the market and the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on car prices.
With this situation continuing, it is likely that prices will face further increases in the coming days. Market analysts believe that if the exchange rate continues its upward trend, expecting further price increases in the car market will be unavoidable.
