Today, Sunday, October 12, 1405, the car market is facing significant price increases. This price surge has occurred following the rise in gold prices to over 26 million tomans and the currency rate to 267 thousand tomans. These factors have put considerable pressure on the car market, and even economical cars have not been spared from this wave of price increases.

Economical Cars in the Crosshairs of Price Increases

As the fluctuations in currency rates and inflation expectations cast a shadow over the market, domestic cars such as the Peugeot 207 Automatic have faced the highest price increases. This car has seen a price increase of 400 million tomans in a short period, reaching three billion and 500 million tomans.

Among Iran Khodro products, the price of the Sorena Plus dual-fuel large cylinder has also increased by 230 million tomans compared to yesterday, reaching two billion and 750 million tomans. Additionally, the Dena Plus 6-speed has also increased by a similar amount to two billion and 800 million tomans.

Price Increases in Saipa and Assembled Cars

In the Saipa product market, the price of the Quick S has risen by 250 million tomans compared to yesterday and is currently priced at one billion and 225 million tomans. The Saina S has also increased by 100 million tomans, reaching one billion and 560 million tomans.

Assembled cars have not been immune to this upward trend either. The Fidyliity Elite Type 2 seven-seater has seen a price jump of one billion tomans, reaching seven billion and 200 million tomans. Additionally, the price of the Jack J4 zero has increased by 250 million tomans to three billion and 150 million tomans.

Given the ongoing upward trend in currency rates and political uncertainties, it seems that these price increases in the car market will continue, raising concerns among buyers and industry players.
