Ahmad Moazami Goudarzi announced the start of new plans by the Tehran Municipality in the area of organizing pathways, reporting the removal of sidewalk obstructions and the collection of flower sellers around Behesht Zahra (S). These plans, which began in May of this year, are being implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of District One and the Municipality's Protection Unit.
Difficult Experience of Organization in Tajrish
The Technical and Executive Deputy of the Tehran Municipality's City Guard and Boundary Guard explained the difficulties of implementing the plans: "Removing sidewalk obstructions and organizing street vendors in the Tajrish axis was very challenging due to the 30 to 40-year history of some individuals in this area. However, now street vending in this axis has almost reached zero." He added: "Currently, only three or four cases, for which the Municipality of District One has issued permits, can be observed, and by 8 PM, the Tajrish axis is completely clean."

Collection of Flower Sellers and Organization of Child Laborers
Referring to the second axis of implementing these plans, Moazami Goudarzi stated: "After the Tajrish axis, actions were taken around Hashemi Highway and the Behesht Zahra (S) area to organize flower sellers, which improved traffic and blocked routes. With the cooperation of the police and the Municipality's Protection Unit, these problems have been minimized, and child laborers have also been collected from this area."
The Technical and Executive Deputy of the City Guard and Boundary Guard stated that similar actions have been taken in areas such as 20 Meter Afseriyeh and the Shahrzad axis, saying: "These plans have not only helped improve the condition of pathways but have also increased safety by preventing violations."
Implementation Challenges and Media Support
Moazami Goudarzi emphasized the difficulties of implementing sidewalk obstruction removal plans, saying: "In this path, our forces faced insults, cursing, and even physical assaults. We expect the media to cooperate more with us to convey the problems correctly to the citizens."
He also announced the addition of a sidewalk obstruction reporting icon to the 'My Police' system, stating: "This action aims to increase public participation in reporting violations. Offenders in this regard will be fined, and about 70% of the violating pickup trucks have been moved to the parking lot."
Order and Calm in the 15 Khordad Market
Moazami Goudarzi also referred to the organization of the 15 Khordad market, stating: "This market required special supervision due to the high volume of activities. With the cooperation of 100 forces from the City Guard and another 100 from the Emergency Unit, we managed to keep this axis clean until 5 PM, and gradually this issue will become a culture."
Finally, Moazami Goudarzi expressed hope for the continuation of these plans and their positive impact on urban life, saying: "We are striving to provide better conditions for citizens and ask them to cooperate with us in this path."
