How to Make Homemade Royal Burger
First, grate the garlic and three of the onions and squeeze out their juice. This will prevent your meat mixture from becoming mushy and help it hold its shape during cooking. Then, in a large bowl, combine the ground beef with the ketchup, mustard, pepper powders, onion, garlic, salt, and egg. Mix the ingredients well, but be careful not to over-knead, as this can make the meat tough.
Add the bread crumbs to the meat mixture and use an appropriate amount to keep your burger from drying out. Then divide the meat into equal portions and shape them into rounds. To prevent the burgers from sticking together, cover them with parchment paper or a freezer bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to rest.
For cooking, prepare the burgers by grilling or frying in a pan. If frying, flip the burgers regularly to prevent burning. Slice the burger buns in half and, if desired, warm them slightly in the pan. Then layer the ingredients in the following order: burger bun, desired sauce, lettuce and tomato, warm meat burger, sliced cheese, and pickles.
To achieve a taste close to professional restaurants, use meat with about 20% fat and fresh ingredients. Also, let the meat rest after cooking to retain its juices within the burger.
