Heads of households who have received the SMS regarding the increase in subsidy card credit have until tonight to complete their self-declaration form and submit their application. This deadline was previously extended until Friday, October 24, and with the announcement from the Targeted Subsidy Organization, the application submission deadline has been extended until 24:00 on Tuesday, October 27. However, there has been no news yet regarding further extensions.
Methods for submitting requests for increasing subsidy card credit
Hasan Norouzi, the CEO of the Targeted Subsidy Organization, has announced that eligible individuals in this phase can apply through two channels: first, the National Smart Government Services Portal at my.gov.ir, and second, the Targeted Subsidy Organization's channel on the Bale messaging app. Submitting an application through either of these two channels is sufficient, and there is no need to repeat the information.

According to the announcement from this organization, approximately 18 million and 300 thousand households are currently in the process of reviewing the increase in credit. However, it should be noted that submitting an application alone does not mean final approval or the definite deposit of additional credit, as household information must be reviewed in the relevant process.
Increase in subsidy card credit for vulnerable households
One of the main focuses of the new plan is to increase the subsidy card credit for low-income households and vulnerable groups. In this framework, the credit for some eligible groups has increased from one million tomans to one million and five hundred thousand tomans. In the first phase, the main focus was on pensioners and households covered by the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and the Welfare Organization. This group includes a population of about 11 million people.
However, the announced increase in credit for eligible groups should not be interpreted as an automatic and uniform increase in credit for all households. In the new phase, completing the self-declaration form and reviewing economic conditions will be the basis for processing requests for credit increases.
One of the reasons for the importance of extending the application deadline was the gap between the target population and the number of registered applications. By the end of October 22, about three million heads of households had registered their requests for credit increases, which was far from the target population of about 18 million and 300 thousand households.
Officials have also announced that the current one million toman credit remains in place, and the purpose of collecting information is to review household conditions for credit increases. Therefore, heads of households who have received an SMS inviting them to submit information must complete the relevant form so that their request can be processed.
