Hamidreza Hajibabaei, on Wednesday morning at the November 13 rally in Saat Square, Tabriz, commemorated the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini (RA), stating: "The people of Tabriz have always played a significant role at critical junctures in the history of the Islamic Revolution, and the presence of various segments of the people, including students, scholars, teachers, and officials in the November 13 rally, reflects the continued spirit of resistance against imperialism of the Iranian nation."
History of America's Hostility Towards Iran
Hajibabaei, referring to the historical significance of November 13 and America's crimes against the Iranian nation, added: "This day reminds us of the atrocities committed by America against students who were striving to build a better future. America's hands have been stained with the blood of the Iranian people numerous times over the years, and this hostility continues to this day."

The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: "The Iranian nation has never been the initiator of war and aggression. Our people's demand is to enjoy a dignified life, progress, dignity, and pride under the shade of Islamic values and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), but they will stand firm against any aggression towards their independence, identity, and national pride."
America's Concern About Iran's Power
Hajibabaei referred to the attack on the Minab school, considering this incident as an example of America's behavior towards the Iranian nation, stating: "Targeting a school where students were present revealed the true face of America's enmity towards the people and future generations of Iran."
He further referred to American researchers' assessments regarding Iran's future, saying: "Before the 12-day war, American researchers warned Trump in a report that if Iran continues on its current path with these capabilities, it will become a major and influential international power in the future."
Hajibabaei identified three factors contributing to this assessment: "First, Iran has a rich and ancient civilization spanning thousands of years; second, this civilization is intertwined with over 1400 years of Islamic culture and knowledge; and third, the Iranian nation possesses high intelligence and talent."
He noted: "The combination of these three capacities has placed Iran in a position where it can make a significant leap in various fields, and for this reason, enemies do not want these capacities to reach full bloom."
The Necessity of Preserving National Unity
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, referring to the words of the martyr leader about the Iranian nation's approach to the peaks of progress, stated: "The journey towards the summit is accompanied by numerous difficulties and obstacles, and one cannot expect the path of progress to be traversed without hardship; however, overcoming these obstacles is what brings the nation to its rightful place."
Hajibabaei also emphasized the necessity of maintaining national cohesion and continued: "The sacred unity of the Iranian people at critical junctures has been one of the most important factors in helping the country overcome crises, and today we must also pursue the path of progress and national power relying on this unity and cohesion."
He stated that America's confrontation with Iran has a deeper nature than political differences, adding: "What is happening today is a war against the existence and identity of the Iranian nation; the enemy does not want Iranian civilization, Islamic identity, and the capacities of this nation to be placed on the path of progress and empowerment."
In conclusion, the Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized the position of leadership and the steadfastness of the Iranian nation, saying: "Preserving the system means safeguarding 90 million Iranians and protecting values, national identity, the homeland, and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). The Iranian nation will not retreat in defending the principles and guidelines of the leadership."
