General Nagdi, the commander of the Basij Resistance Force, in an exclusive interview with the Al-Alam news network, emphasized the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to increase its weapon range. He specifically referred to the Strait of Hormuz and stated that the armed forces of Iran have complete dominance over this strait. General Nagdi expressed that this situation will persist until Iran's legitimate demands are fulfilled.

Control over the Strait of Hormuz

The Strait of Hormuz, as one of the most important waterways in the world, plays a vital role in the transportation of oil and gas. General Nagdi, highlighting the importance of this strait for Iran's national security, emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic will exert all their efforts to protect this region. He added that if Iran's demands are not addressed, this dominance will continue, and in other words, Iran has no doubt in defending its interests.

Readiness to increase military capability

General Nagdi also referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran's plans to strengthen and increase its weapon range. He clarified that these plans are designed to ensure the country's security and protect national interests. According to him, Iran's military power is not only for defense but also for creating deterrence against potential threats. This approach allows Iran to respond effectively to regional and international challenges.

As regional and international tensions continue to rise, General Nagdi emphasizes the necessity of strengthening defensive capabilities. He stated that Iran seeks peace and stability in the region, but at the same time is prepared to defend itself. These remarks come at a time when some Western countries are seeking to exert pressure on Iran, and this pressure could impact regional security.
