Farhad Mohammadi Alimoti announced the completion of the communication infrastructure development operations on Line 5 of the Tehran Metro, reporting the resolution of one of the communication blind spots in the Golshahr tunnel. With this action, passengers can benefit from stable mobile phone coverage for making calls and using internet services.

Development of Communication Infrastructure in the Metro

The manager of the central infrastructure network of the Tehran Metro Operating Company emphasized the importance of this project, stating: "The operations for developing the communication infrastructure and fiber optic cabling and feeder, approximately 1100 meters long, have been completed, and now mobile network coverage in this area is fully established." This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality for passengers.

The Importance of Mobile Coverage in Emergency Situations

Mohammadi Alimoti emphasized that completing mobile coverage in the Golshahr tunnel not only improves passengers' access to communication services but also holds special significance from the perspective of emergency management and communication stability. In situations where passengers need communication services, this coverage can play a vital role.

He also added that the development of communication infrastructure in the metro network is continuously pursued with the aim of enhancing service quality, increasing accessibility, and strengthening the necessary communication frameworks in both normal and emergency conditions. This action not only provides new opportunities for passengers but also contributes to improving the social and economic conditions of the city.

The mobile coverage project in the Golshahr tunnel is considered a positive step towards improving public transportation infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for citizens. Given the increasing use of smartphones and the need for online services, this project is particularly important in the current situation where communication has become an integral part of daily life.

Finally, Farhad Mohammadi Alimoti announced that this project, as a successful example of collaboration among various sectors, could serve as a model for other developmental projects in the field of public transportation. It is hoped that with the continuation of this trend, the improvement of service quality and increased passenger satisfaction across all lines of the Tehran Metro will be achieved.
