Ehsan Masoudi, advisor to the Housing and Building Deputy of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, elaborated on the latest status of supportive housing plans in a television program. He mentioned the delivery of 21,000 urban supportive housing units at the beginning of the Fourteenth Government and stated that since then, more than 90,000 additional units have been allocated to applicants.

Future Plans and Executive Priorities

Masoudi, referring to the future plans of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, announced the forecast of delivering 180,000 99-year urban housing units by 2026. He also added that currently about 850,000 housing units are prioritized for follow-up, and these actions are aimed at providing housing for various segments of society.

Comprehensive System for Supportive Housing Plans

The advisor to the Housing and Building Deputy announced the start of registration in rural areas and 50 medium and small cities and emphasized that the comprehensive system for supportive housing plans is not closed. This system is designed to manage processes such as registration, reviewing applicants' conditions, allocating land, and tracking the status of projects and banking facilities. He also referred to the provision of infrastructure services and stated that 50% of the costs of these services are covered by the National Housing Fund.

Masoudi emphasized the importance of transparency in the execution of commitments, stating that the status of land, projects, and the stages of commitments for the beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and the Welfare Organization, as well as those covered by the Youth Population Law, must be fully clarified. These actions are aimed at facilitating and accelerating housing provision for low-income and needy segments of society.

Given the existing challenges in the housing market and rising costs, the delivery of these residential units has created hopes among applicants. It is expected that with the continuation of this process and new registrations in various areas, some of the housing concerns in the country will be alleviated, allowing families to live more peacefully in their new homes.
