The human trafficking gang in Tehran, which used various methods to identify and transfer illegal immigrants to the capital, was identified and dismantled by the Greater Tehran Information Police. Members of this gang systematically identified illegal individuals in border areas and, after transferring them to Tehran, settled them in specific locations.

Methods of Operation of the Human Trafficking Gang

This gang divided its activities into small groups, temporarily hiding illegal immigrants in safe locations, especially around the Azadegan Highway, after their arrival in Tehran, and then moving them for transfer to other destinations. This method allowed them to escape potential dangers if necessary and continuously continue their activities.

Successful Police Operation

Officers from the Tenth Base of the Greater Tehran Information Police, through precise and intelligent monitoring of the gang leader's activities in the Khalazir area, successfully gathered the necessary clues to identify its members. After completing the investigations, the officers acted in a coordinated and swift operation at three different locations, identifying and arresting all members of this gang.

In this operation, three vehicles used for the transportation and transfer of illegal immigrants were also discovered and seized. According to legal regulations, all vehicles involved in the commission of this crime will be confiscated in accordance with the law.

This police action demonstrates the serious determination of security institutions in combating human trafficking and supporting human rights. However, there is still a need for more attention and action to prevent such crimes from occurring. Addressing the social and economic roots of illegal immigration and striving to provide better conditions for foreign nationals in the country can help reduce these issues.
