The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, in response to recent claims regarding changes in Tehran's positions, firmly stated that there is no change in Iran's principles and conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. He expressed that Iran has clearly announced its conditions for reopening this strategic strait.

Iran's Specific Conditions for the Strait of Hormuz

Zarif further stated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz will only be possible if Iran's conditions are met. He clarified that the issue of the Strait of Hormuz is completely clear and the conditions set by Iran have been communicated to the other party. These conditions, determined by the Supreme Leader, must be implemented in practice to enable the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's Message to the Global Community

The Foreign Minister also emphasized the importance of informing the international community and said: "Our mission is to communicate our conditions to the American side and other countries so that everyone is aware that Iran has a plan in this regard." He added that if the United States and other countries are seeking an agreement or peaceful solution, Iran has provided a logical and fair solution in this regard.

These statements come at a time when recent tensions in the Persian Gulf and provocative actions by some countries have raised significant concerns. Zarif expressed hope that the opposing parties would pay attention to Iran's conditions, emphasizing that changing Iran's positions in this regard is impossible and Tehran is seeking to preserve its national interests.

Regional Challenges and Consequences

The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered one of the most important shipping routes in the world, will have profound effects on global energy markets and maritime security. The Strait of Hormuz plays a key role in the transfer of oil and gas from the Persian Gulf to global markets, and any disruption in this route could lead to price increases and severe fluctuations in global markets.

Maintaining the security of this strait and adherence to Iran's conditions by international parties could help reduce tensions and create a conducive environment for diplomacy. However, at the same time, ignoring these conditions may lead to increased tensions and further complexities in the region.
