How to Make Date Syrup Cake
Date syrup cake is not just a simple cake; it is a combination of flavor, aroma, and nutritional value. First, crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Place the whites in a clean, grease-free bowl and start beating them with a high-speed mixer. When the volume of the whites increases, gradually add half of the sugar. This step is crucial for achieving a light and fluffy texture for the cake.
In another bowl, add the yolks and the remaining sugar along with the vanilla. Beat the mixture until the yolks become lighter in color and the mixture takes on a creamy consistency. Pour the date syrup into a bowl and add the boiling water, then stir. Next, add the liquid oil to this mixture and stir until combined.
In three stages, add the flour and baking powder mixture to the ingredients and fold with a spatula. Once the batter is ready, pour it into a pre-greased and floured mold. Smooth the surface of the batter slightly with a spatula. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 45 to 60 minutes.
After baking, remove the cake from the oven and let it sit in the mold for about five minutes. Then, remove it from the mold and place it on a wire rack to cool. To achieve a fluffy and soft cake, pay attention to key tips such as not over-mixing the batter and using high-quality ingredients.
