The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Gilan, expressing serious criticisms of the current economic conditions in the country, emphasized the need for a change in the government's approach regarding production and the economy. He stressed that in recent years, the shadow of government control over the economy has become significantly heavy, hindering the growth and dynamism of the private sector.

Government Control and Economic Challenges

In this meeting, the Representative of the Supreme Leader pointed out that many of the country's economic problems stem from government control, stating: "The government must change its position from that of a competitor of producers to that of a fair observer." According to him, this change in approach can help reduce barriers and facilitate the economic activities of the private sector.

He continued that despite the government's efforts to improve economic conditions, excessive interference in production and trade has caused uncertainty and disruption in the market. "Producers must be trusted and supported so they can continue their activities in a competitive environment," he added.

The Necessity of Supporting Producers

The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Gilan also referred to the necessity of supporting domestic producers, stating: "Many producers are experiencing significant challenges due to insufficient support and appropriate facilities from the government, which in turn affects the quality and quantity of the country's productions."

This official stated that more attention should be paid to domestic capacities, adding: "Our producers, if provided with the necessary support, can easily meet domestic needs and also consider exporting."

In conclusion, the Representative of the Supreme Leader emphasized the need for a change in mindset towards institutionalizing the culture of production and entrepreneurship, saying: "Changes in the country's economic and social policies can significantly contribute to improving the economic situation and boosting production in the country."
