The Eagle 44 airbase of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army continues to reconstruct and strengthen its infrastructure while the United States and the Zionist regime are heavily propagating the destruction of Iran's military capabilities. This base, unveiled in February 2023, is designed with facilities including fighter jet hangars, aircraft maintenance centers, and navigation equipment to support various types of air force fighters.
Attacks and Reconstruction of Eagle 44 Base
This year, Eagle 44 base has repeatedly been targeted by airstrikes; however, the reconstruction process is still ongoing. According to recent reports, satellite images show that a new section of the base's taxiway has been completed and some damaged buildings are under repair. Barriers installed to block the runway have also been removed.

This base is considered one of the key targets for the United States and Israel, and due to its location in the mountains, it can house fighters, drones, and even cruise and ballistic missiles. In the published images, F-4 Phantom fighters with various armaments are clearly visible.
Challenges Facing the Iranian Air Force
Airstrikes against Eagle 44 base began in late February 2024 and continued until July 2024. Reports indicate that the main objective of these attacks was to sever communication between underground facilities and the runway to keep the base's resources and equipment in a state of confinement. However, satellite images show that the damage inflicted on the base has not been significant, and the reconstruction process continues.
The Iranian Air Force is currently facing multiple challenges. On one hand, Eagle 44 base and other underground facilities are exposed to airstrikes, and on the other hand, the ability to reconstruct and redeploy these bases demonstrates Iran's determination to maintain its air power. Brigadier General Ran Kochav of the Israeli army recently praised Iran's industrial and reconstruction capabilities, stating that the country has replenished its reserves.
Despite numerous claims about the destruction of Iran's air force, the reconstruction and strengthening of these bases reflect Iran's resolve to maintain national security and enhance its defensive capabilities. Given its strategic location, Eagle 44 base can play an important role in Iran's military future and act as a stronghold against external threats.
