Baghai, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacted to the use of the term 'Iran conflict' by some parties, especially in the joint statement from officials of Qatar and France, emphasizing that this term distorts the truth and cannot accurately describe the current situation. He stated that Iran is currently in an unequal war and pointed to the dimensions of this conflict and its consequences for the region and the world.

Emphasis on Complex Realities

Baghai noted that the use of the term 'conflict' may be an attempt to normalize the wartime conditions, saying: 'These conflicts are by no means merely a local conflict; they have broader implications for regional and global security and stability.' He added that the war against Iran, due to sanctions and international pressures, has affected not only the people of Iran but also the stability of the entire region.

Response to International Criticism

This spokesperson also responded to international criticisms of Iran's policies, stating: 'Iran has always sought peace and stability and rejects any provocative actions. These statements and incorrect interpretations only add fuel to the fire of this conflict and are far from tangible realities.' He emphasized that Iran, as an independent country with a rich history, has the right to defend itself against external threats, adding: 'We will never allow our national interests to be affected by these incorrect terms.'

In conclusion, Baghai stressed the need for a deeper understanding of current realities and urged the international community to pay more attention to existing realities instead of using misleading terms. He also invited other countries to cooperate towards establishing lasting peace and security in the region.
