Captain Al-Mohandi, a marine logistics analyst, made controversial statements regarding the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz and clearly stated that these ships are compelled to pay fees to pass through this strait. He emphasized Iran's ancient history and its deep roots, saying: "Whether we like it or not, the reality is that ships must pay fees to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Anyone who does not read history makes a mistake."

History and Identity of Iran

Captain Al-Mohandi, referring to Iran's history of over 10,000 years, stressed the importance of understanding the history and identity of this country. He added: "Iran has deep and solid roots in this land, so do not think you can cause its collapse." These statements come at a time when tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have significantly increased, raising concerns about maritime security.

This logistics analyst also pointed to the economic and political challenges arising from ships passing through this strait and noted that the fees paid not only help ensure maritime security but also contribute to Iran's economic development. According to him, this approach could lead to more investments in Iran's maritime and road infrastructure.

Given the importance of the Strait of Hormuz in global trade, Captain Al-Mohandi's statements once again demonstrate that Iran, considering its history and geographical position, will remain a key player in maritime shipping and trade in the region.
