Brigadier General Qasem Rezaei, the deputy commander of the national police force, upon arriving at Jiroft Airport on Sunday, October 1, 2023, referred to regional developments and the threats posed by the American and Zionist regimes against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In this press conference, emphasizing the shift in the police force's discourse towards the mindset of 'duty-bound fighters', he said: 'The term 'excused officer' has faded in this organization. Wherever it is required by law and the needs of the people, our forces will be present powerfully on the scene.'

Increased Police Services

Brigadier General Rezaei noted that currently, police services have significantly increased, and for a police officer, there is no difference between night and day or holidays. Referring to the past efforts of the enemies of the system, he stated: 'The enemies of the system have never been able to achieve their sinister goals, and today, thanks to the courage and dedication of the great Iranian nation, the intelligence of the armed forces, and the cooperation of all people, they will not succeed.'

Country's Defensive Power

This police official praised the country's defensive power, reminding that today, by God's grace, we have powerful armed forces. He emphasized: 'The police forces, alongside the military forces and the entire nation, will firmly defend all the values of the Islamic Revolution and the territorial integrity of the country.' Brigadier General Rezaei referred to the important role of the police force in maintaining the security and tranquility of the country and added: 'Our forces will always be fully prepared to serve the people and will not neglect their duties for a moment.'

Given Brigadier General Rezaei's statements, it seems that the police force is seeking to become an active and effective institution in confronting internal and external threats. This change in the discourse of the police forces, especially in the current sensitive conditions, can help strengthen the sense of security and public trust among the people.
