Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, criticized and reviewed the terms used to describe the military aggression of the U.S. and the Zionist regime against Iran in a press conference yesterday. He particularly referred to the use of the phrase "Iran's conflict" and stated that such phrases are not only biased but clearly distort the realities.

Distorting Reality with Language

He emphasized the importance of language in conveying realities, noting that the use of unrealistic terms can lead to a change in public and international perception of events. According to Baghaei, these types of naming are not neutral; rather, they deliberately attempt to hide the bitter realities that Iran faces.

Baghaei continued: "We must call these aggressions by their real names. These incidents not only violate Iran's national sovereignty but also have negative impacts on regional security and stability." He also referred to the hostile actions of the U.S. and the Zionist regime in recent years, stating that these actions reflect the true intentions of these countries.

Consequences of Military Aggression

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed to the repercussions of such aggressions for national and regional security, adding: "Iran, as an independent country committed to preserving its territorial integrity, strongly condemns any aggression and will seek accountability for these threats." He emphasized that the international community should pay closer attention to these issues and avoid distorted terminology.

Baghaei also urged media and analysts to use precise and clear language instead of ambiguous and misleading terms to accurately reflect the realities. He stated: "It is our duty as news and research institutions to convey the realities correctly and comprehensively."

These remarks come as tensions in the region continue, and military movements by the U.S. and Israel, especially near Iran's borders, have raised significant concerns. These worries are increasingly being discussed not only among Iranian officials but also among international analysts and observers.

In this context, Baghaei emphasized the necessity of national and regional solidarity, stating that Iran has always sought peace and stability in the region and has never pursued war. He added: "However, in the event of a threat, Iran will vigorously defend its interests."
