The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted four violating ships in the northern part of the Persian Gulf, while a fire on three other ships in the west of the Strait of Hormuz has been reported. This operation was conducted in response to maritime threats and the illegal passage of ships through controlled routes.
Operation to Destroy Violating Ships
The naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, by monitoring and pursuing four violating ships that were illegally transferring oil cargoes, successfully discovered and targeted them. These ships, which were transferring oil cargoes from ship to ship, were hit as soon as they were identified and burned in the fire. This action is considered a serious warning to other violating ships that pass through inappropriate routes.
Maritime Incidents and Consequences
In addition to the destruction of violating ships, a separate report indicated that three other ships in the west of the Strait of Hormuz encountered incidents and fires due to hitting naval mines and were halted. These incidents reflect the escalation of maritime tensions and the dangers arising from the illegal passage of vessels. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned the U.S. imperialist regime in a statement that the continuation of these policies could lead to more serious confrontations.
The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has clearly stated that it will manage and control the Strait of Hormuz decisively and with national backing, standing firm against threats. In this regard, following previous warnings to violating maritime companies, this operation demonstrates the firm determination and capability of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in maintaining the security of Iran's waters.
The Guard also noted at the end of its statement that maritime incidents caused by U.S. provocations are increasingly on the rise, and this is a serious warning to invading forces. These developments highlight the existing challenges in maritime security and the need for greater vigilance against threats.
