The closing ceremony of the Summer School of Joy and Excellence was held on the night of Friday, October 24, 2026, with the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Hassan Zadeh, head of the Basij Organization of Tehran Municipality. This event was organized to mark the end of the summer period of cultural, educational, and skill-building programs for the children of municipality employees, especially the children of martyrs from the past two years.

7,000 Participants in the Programs

In this ceremony, Mohammad Mehdi Hassan Zadeh expressed his happiness over the attendance of 7,000 children of employees in these programs, announcing that among them, 4,500 were boys and 2,500 were girls. He emphasized that these programs were held throughout the summer with the aim of enhancing the cultural and skill levels of the youth.

Hassan Zadeh referred to the efforts to discover talents and flourish the abilities of the children, adding: "The presence of the children of martyrs from the past two years in these courses was one of the valuable features of this year's programs. We tried to create a suitable environment for the growth of these talents. Additionally, the educational approach of these programs was of special importance to us."

Main Themes of the Summer Programs

The head of the Basij Organization of Tehran Municipality further pointed to four main themes planned for the children of municipality employees. These themes included strengthening foundational beliefs and insight, enhancing physical fitness and health, teaching necessary skills for today's and tomorrow's society, and providing opportunities for utilizing their capabilities in areas needed by the country.

Hassan Zadeh also addressed the role of instructors in implementing these plans, stating: "This year's summer programs were conducted with the efforts and cooperation of 180 instructors. These instructors aimed to create joy and dynamism, striving to follow the capabilities and excellence of the children of employees."

Artistic Performances and the Role of Families

At the closing ceremony, a choir group consisting of 168 children of employees performed a song. Hassan Zadeh, recalling last year's performance by a 313-member choir at the 12,000-seat Azadi Stadium, highlighted the importance of such activities in creating enthusiasm and joy among the youth.

He also emphasized the role of families in the process of educating children, noting: "Families and parents are the first educators of children, and the interaction between families and educational institutions can play a significant role in nurturing talents and raising the next generation." These remarks reflect the importance of alignment between families and educational institutions in educating the youth.
