Amirreza Jalali Farahani, the head of the 137 Plus system, announced a major transformation in responding to urban demands. These changes aim to enhance efficiency, agility, and transparency in addressing citizens' requests. He noted the participation of 200 experts and representatives from related fields in various stages of this project, stating: “13 work stages have been planned to achieve the new management structure and response to messages, and 820 person-hours of specialized work have been dedicated to identifying areas for improvement and designing new processes.”
History and Implementation Process of the Project
This project began in late 2025, and since then, the operational processes of the 137 and 1888 systems have been thoroughly reviewed and analyzed following their merger in 2023. Jalali Farahani further emphasized that the new processes have been designed and finalized by leveraging the strengths of both structures, and this action has been taken to integrate and improve the response system to urban requests.

Goals and Outcomes of the New Changes
The head of the 137 Plus system explained the goals of this initiative, stating: “Reviewing and integrating processes aims to create cohesive and transparent procedures, increase the traceability of requests, and strengthen oversight and monitoring mechanisms.” According to him, these changes can lead to an improvement in the quality and efficiency of the response system for citizens. Jalali Farahani emphasized that the new processes of the 137 Plus system have been designed with a focus on standardization, integration, and increased transparency, adding: “Its operational establishment will facilitate improvement and acceleration in addressing citizens' urban demands.”
