Ahmad Fatemi, the head of the Mazandaran Representatives Assembly, responded to rumors regarding the increase in the salaries of parliament members during the Economic Council meeting in Sari, clearly stating that this news is not true. He expressed concern that such news could create anxiety in society, given the current economic conditions of the country.
Denial of salary increase for representatives
Fatemi emphasized in this meeting that he personally does not receive a salary from the parliament and receives his salary as a faculty member of the university. He stated: "The issue of increasing the salaries of representatives is not true, and I explicitly deny the news published in this regard." This statement comes at a time when various news regarding the increase in the salaries of parliament members had been circulating in recent days.

The necessity of facilitating access to banking resources
Fatemi further pointed to the existing problems in the economic sector and emphasized the need to facilitate access for production units and entrepreneurs to banking resources. He stated: "Complex banking regulations and processes should not entangle economic activists." The representative of the people of Babol in the Islamic Consultative Assembly referred to the efforts of entrepreneurs in difficult economic conditions and called for government support for this group.
He also mentioned the problems of bureaucracy and some cumbersome regulations and directives in the process of granting bank facilities, saying: "The process of supporting production has faced these problems, and we must move towards deregulation and create a nimble banking system."
Continuation of joint meetings to remove obstacles
Fatemi continued by highlighting the importance of continuing joint meetings among provincial representatives, executive management, economic managers, and the banking network, stating: "Holding such meetings provides an opportunity to summarize issues and transfer provincial problems to the national level." He noted that the views and issues raised in these meetings will be followed up in Tehran in meetings with senior managers of the Central Bank, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, and bank CEOs.
According to Fatemi, the primary goal is to make the process of granting facilities in the province smooth and efficient, and in the next step, to pursue solutions for reforming laws, regulations, and banking rules in support of production and economic activities. He emphasized that the banking system must respond to the needs of society, both in the area of small loans and in financing large projects, meeting the expectations of the people and economic activists.
