Amir Elhami, a trader and financial market analyst, examined the future of the cryptocurrency market and its dependence on Bitcoin in a statement. He emphasized that the analysis of the cryptocurrency market should consider factors beyond price charts and trading volumes. According to Elhami, cybersecurity, asset custody structures, and political relations among countries play a fundamental role in investor behavior.
The Impact of Cyber Attacks on Investor Confidence
Recently, a cyber attack on Binance led to the theft of user assets. After the theft, the attackers converted a significant portion of the stolen assets to Ethereum to carry out the next stages of transferring and concealing transactions through decentralized financial services. In response to this incident, Binance announced that it would compensate the losses incurred to user assets through its SAFU fund and its financial resources. Additionally, the exchange reported the blocking of approximately $3 billion in assets related to the attack.

Despite these compensatory measures, the incident had a significant impact on user confidence. Reports indicate that after the phased resumption of withdrawals, users withdrew approximately $3.64 billion in assets from Binance within 9.5 hours, which is equivalent to 2.1% of the exchange's assets. This reality indicates that investor confidence in trading infrastructures is affected by such incidents.
The Necessity of Focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity
Amir Elhami further pointed to the importance of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the cryptocurrency market. The International Monetary Fund has noted the increase in cyber threats against financial infrastructures in a report, identifying it as one of the growing risks to the global economy. This institution has also warned that advanced artificial intelligence models can enhance both the ability to execute cyber attacks and the capacity to defend against them.
Elhami emphasized that the future of the crypto market is not solely dependent on the price changes of Bitcoin and Ethereum, but also on the level of trust in trading infrastructures and the ability of industry players to manage new risks. Understanding the relationship between technology, financial security, and international developments has become one of the necessities of market analysis.
Alongside analytical activities, Amir Elhami has introduced a product called Signal AI, aimed at leveraging artificial intelligence capabilities in analyzing financial data and assessing market conditions. This product is part of Elhami's efforts to link modern technologies with cryptocurrency trading.
