Alireza Nadali, spokesperson for the Tehran City Council, emphasized in his remarks that the Mecca Agreement among Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan has failed in the face of crises and security challenges. He commemorated the martyrs and the late Imam, referring to the bluster of American officials, and stated: "The President of the United States claims without any diplomatic framework that Iran's military force has been eliminated, but today we see that Iran is at the center of regional developments."

Failure of the Mecca Agreement in Crises

Nadali further clarified that the three countries of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan had previously signed the Mecca Agreement, which states that any threat to one of these countries is considered a threat to all of them. However, in practice, this agreement has not been effective. He pointed to the situation in Saudi Arabia, which has been under attack from the Yemenis for years, and thus it is clear whether Pakistan or Turkey has been able to assist Saudi Arabia.

Need for Endogenous Security

Nadali also stated that security must be endogenous. He referred to political developments in the United States and the internal crisis of the Zionist regime, saying: "These three countries have come to Tehran and are meeting with high-ranking officials to redefine their security." He emphasized the steadfastness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, including the naval forces of the IRGC and the army, in preserving the country's interests in the Strait of Hormuz, adding: "It has reached a point where others are compelled to seek favors and refer to Iran."

Iran's Global Position and Power in History

Nadali, in another part of his speech, referred to Iran's global position and said: "Some think that if these wars and hardships come to an end, we will become the fourth power in the world. But I ask, are we in a European country or in the Islamic Republic? Since the day we said 'no' to the tyrants of the world, we chose a different path."

The spokesperson for the Tehran City Council emphasized that according to the verses of the Quran and the instructions of the infallibles, Iran is recognized as the first power in the world, stating: "We stand at the right point in history and the world, and behind Allahu Akbar, comes death to America and death to Israel."

Steadfastness of the Iranian Nation

Nadali concluded by referring to historical lessons and divine traditions, noting: "The great nation of Iran, with unity of word and steadfastness against pressures, stands behind the representative of God. God willing, with the steadfastness of this nation and the pure blood of the martyrs, the dishonored and defeated enemy will be expelled from this region, and we will all stand together until the end."
