Alireza Nadali, at the unveiling ceremony of the bust of the martyr scientist Ali Bakoui, attended by a group of veterans of the Sacred Defense and the family of this martyr, elaborated on the current conditions of the country. He pointed out that the enemies are well aware that Iran's nuclear achievements, from radioisotopes to agricultural applications, are all in a peaceful trajectory and within the framework of the Supreme Leader's fatwa.
Enemies and the Targeting of Scientists
Nadali stated: “The enemy's goal in assassinating scientists like Dr. Bakoui, Fakhrizadeh, and Shahriari is to obstruct the country's progress and strike at Iran's scientific and civil independence. They cannot bear to see an Iran that, relying on its own capabilities, has something to say in various scientific fields.”

The Necessity of Unity in Wartime
The spokesperson and vice-chairman of the Cultural and Social Commission of the Tehran City Council referred to the efforts of urban management in critical conditions and said: “During the recent wars, our colleagues in the municipality of District 8 stood side by side with the people in the streets and, despite all dangers, never ceased to serve the citizens.” Nadali also emphasized the need to maintain unity against international corruption and stated: “In this sensitive atmosphere, anyone who wants to engage the public's mind with political disputes is committing treason.”
He stated that any action that alleviates the burden on the people deserves appreciation, saying: “Urban management is stepping forward with all its might in this path, and anyone who wants to obstruct this path is mistaken.”
Furthermore, Fatemeh Tanhaei, the mayor of District 8 of Tehran, while paying tribute to the family of martyr Bakoui, referred to the cultural characteristics of this area and said: “District 8 is known as a family-oriented area; however, unfortunately, on June 13, 2025, we witnessed that the Zionist regime committed a crime against a family in this area.”
Tanhaei, recalling an incident from the day of the tragedy, added: “I arrived at the scene in the initial moments of the incident and inquired from the neighbors. The neighbors remembered him as an athletic individual; however, we later learned that he was a prominent scientist and elite who achieved the high rank of martyrdom with great injustice.”
