Ahmad Danyamali, Minister of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, began a two-day trip to Armenia with a warm welcome from Khalil Shirgholami, the Iranian ambassador in Yerevan, and Kristina Tataryan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of this country.
Objectives of Danyamali's Visit
Danyamali's visit to Armenia aims to strengthen sports and youth cooperation between the two countries. During this visit, the Minister of Sports and Youth of Iran will meet and discuss with Zhanna Andreasyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia. One of the main goals of this meeting is to sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sports and youth.

Development of Sports Interactions
During this trip, the agenda includes exploring ways to develop joint cooperation and expand sports and youth interactions between Tehran and Yerevan. Danyamali emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the fields of sports and youth, expressing hope that this visit could pave the way for the expansion of bilateral relations and the exchange of experiences between the two countries.
In the planned meetings, both sides will discuss various topics, including joint sports programs, the exchange of coaches and athletes, as well as holding competitions and sports events between the two countries. These collaborations can help elevate the level of sports in both countries and foster greater friendships among Iranian and Armenian youth.
Upon his arrival in Yerevan, Danyamali referred to the historical cultural and sports relations between the two countries, mentioning Armenia as an important partner in the field of sports and expressing hope that this visit could help strengthen these relations. He also pointed to the existing potentials for further cooperation in educational and cultural fields and emphasized the necessity of utilizing these potentials.
