Abuzar Shiroudi, the head of the country's aviation organization, in his latest statements, reported on Iran's lawsuit process in the Hague court and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and hinted at the possibility of compensation being paid to Iran. He announced that ICAO has granted Iran its rights and is now awaiting the final ruling from the Hague court.

War Damages to Iranian Aircraft

Shiroudi added: "In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we filed a complaint due to damages caused by the war in the Hague court and ICAO. ICAO has granted us our rights, and now all eyes are on the Hague court's ruling." He also referred to the damage of about 100 Iranian aircraft during the Ramadan war and said: "In this war, 8 passenger aircraft were completely destroyed."

War Crimes and Their Consequences

The head of the aviation organization emphasized that attacks on airports, aircraft, and radars are clear examples of war crimes, and ICAO has granted this right to Iran. However, it is unclear whether compensation will be awarded to Iran in this regard, as this matter depends on the Hague court's opinion.

Shiroudi further pointed out the importance of this complaint and its impact on the future of Iranian aviation, stating: "We are seeking to assert our rights and hope that with the Hague court's ruling, the necessary compensation will be paid to the country so that we can improve the aviation situation and services to passengers."

Given the significance of this issue and its effects on the country's aviation industry, this case could be considered a turning point in Iran's international relations with other countries. Currently, the world is closely monitoring the proceedings of the Hague court and its outcomes.
