Abbas Aliabadi, the Minister of Energy, at the inauguration ceremony of electricity industry projects in Mashhad, referred to the challenges arising from recent conflicts and announced that about 2,000 points of the country's electricity infrastructure capacities have been hit. He emphasized that despite these damages, a significant portion of them has been restored and efforts to fully return capacities to the grid are still ongoing. These actions are aimed at maintaining the stability of the electricity network.
Achievements of the Ministry of Energy during the war
Aliabadi further mentioned the achievements of the Ministry of Energy during this period and added that approximately 10,000 megawatts have been added to the country's electricity production capacity during this time. He also emphasized the importance of developing electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure and stated: "Improving transmission lines to ensure the possibility of electricity supply and network stability is vital and fundamental actions must be taken in this area." These statements reflect the Ministry of Energy's determination to tackle upcoming challenges and meet the country's electricity needs.

Preparedness for the cold season and energy management
The Minister of Energy also outlined the strategy for preparedness for the cold season, noting that given the current conditions, readiness for the upcoming winter must be greater than last year. He referred to three main priorities of the Ministry of Energy for managing the network in the winter season: first, controlling energy waste through issuing warnings; second, reducing losses in the transmission path; and third, focusing on increasing production. This approach demonstrates careful planning and efforts to maintain continuity of services to the people.
Aliabadi concluded by emphasizing regional capacities, especially in Khorasan Razavi province, and stressed the need to remove existing obstacles in fuel supply for increased production. He stated that with the cooperation of all institutions and agencies, we can help improve the country's energy situation and overcome existing challenges.
