In a retaliatory operation, the Yemeni armed forces targeted the Aramco facilities in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, stated in a statement that this operation was carried out using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles and successfully hit its targets.

Fire at Aramco and Continued Flight Suspension

Saree emphasized that this action was a response to Saudi missile and drone attacks and reflects the determination of Yemeni forces to respond to what they consider to be barbarism. He added that this operation has caused a severe fire at the Aramco oil facilities, and satellite images show that the intensity of the heat has reached 205 megawatts.

He also stressed that the bloodshed of the Yemeni people should not go unanswered, and the enemy must know that the cost of these crimes will be heavy. According to the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, at least eight Aramco oil tanks are currently burning, and flight operations at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh have been suspended since 10:55 PM last night.

Frequent Flight Suspensions and Their Impact on the Aviation Industry

The suspension of operations at King Khalid Airport from September 29 to October 3 has occurred 18 times, five of which coincided with the identification of fires in the regions of Buqayq, Yanbu, and the Riyadh refinery. This situation could have significant effects on the Saudi aviation industry and raise concerns about security and stability in the region.

The recent operations not only indicate increasing tensions in the region but also clearly show that the Yemen crisis continues, and the Yemeni armed forces are striving to respond to Saudi actions with all their might.
