Yahya Gol Mohammadi, head coach of Duhok FC in Iraq, is on the verge of finalizing an agreement with the Iranian Football Federation to lead the U23 football team until the 2028 Olympics. Mehdi Taj, the president of the Football Federation, has allowed Ali Tareghli Zadeh, the head of the technical committee, and Mohammad Rahman Salari, a member of the federation's board, to facilitate Gol Mohammadi's departure from Duhok and negotiate financial terms with him during their trip to Iraq.
Details of Negotiations and Contract Termination
In this regard, representatives of the Football Federation have asked Gol Mohammadi's lawyer to pursue the termination of his contract with the Iraqi club. Once a final agreement is reached on this matter, negotiations will begin to determine the financial details with Gol Mohammadi. If a mutual termination with Duhok occurs, this coach will sit at the negotiating table with the Iranian Football Federation.

Gol Mohammadi intends to convey his demands to the federation by offering a significant discount compared to his current contract in the Iranian Premier League and the current football season in Iraq. These demands include logistical and support issues such as continuous camps with the presence of all invited players.
Federation's Support for Gol Mohammadi
Ali Tareghli Zadeh and Mohammad Rahman Salari have emphasized that there will be comprehensive support from Mehdi Taj and the entire Football Federation for Gol Mohammadi. This support will enable him to implement his technical demands for preparing the U23 team for participation in the 2028 Olympics.
Currently, if both parties maintain their current positions, only the signing of the contract will remain for Gol Mohammadi to take charge of the U23 football team for the first time. This agreement could not only benefit Gol Mohammadi but also have a positive impact on the future of the U23 team and the new generation of Iranian football.
