Xreal has recently unveiled its new augmented reality glasses named Xreal 1 Pro Plus. This product, which is an updated version of the One Pro model, has aimed to enhance the user experience in bright environments with new and improved features.

Increased Brightness and Image Quality

The Xreal 1 Pro Plus glasses have a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, which is about 70% brighter than the previous model. This feature is particularly important in conditions such as using the glasses in outdoor spaces, airplanes, and brightly lit office environments. With this increased brightness, users can have a better experience watching movies, playing games, and working with large displays.

New Technologies and Improved Features

These glasses utilize two Sony micro OLED displays with a size of 0.55 inches and a resolution of 1080 pixels. The capability of converting 2D content to 3D is now performed at a rate of 60 frames per second, while the previous model could only provide 30 frames per second. This change allows users to enjoy more engaging visual experiences.

Additionally, Xreal has added AI HDR capability to its new product, which, according to the company, reveals more details in the bright and dark areas of the image. Users can choose from standard, reading, and gaming display modes to tailor their experience to their needs.

Maintaining Core Features and Improved Design

Despite these changes, a significant portion of the hardware of the glasses remains unchanged. The X1 processor, Bose audio system, 57-degree field of view, and adjustable lens tinting for controlling ambient light are all present in this model. Moreover, the nose pads have been designed to provide more stability and comfort for users.

New features such as gesture control and tracking depend on the Xreal Eye camera, which must be purchased separately. Thus, previous model holders may not have many reasons to upgrade to this new model, but this product could be a more attractive choice for new buyers.

The Xreal 1 Pro Plus glasses are available to buyers at a price of $599 and seem likely to attract users with the improved features they offer.
