Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, at a recent meeting of the country's Military-Industrial Committee, sharply criticized European leaders, accusing them of justifying their economic policy mistakes with threats from Russia. Putin emphasized that these leaders are worsening the situation instead of trying to reduce tensions.
Pressure on Europe and Citizens' Discontent
Putin said: "European leaders are trying to save their declining popularity with these actions and hide their economic and social mistakes, but these efforts have yielded no results." He added that some of these leaders openly declare that they are preparing for war with Russia, while this only shows their disregard for the voices of their citizens.

Referring to the recent elections, he stated that European citizens have clearly shown their opposition to entering a war with Russia, yet their leaders continue to escalate tensions. Putin urged Western countries to live in peace with Russia and warned that otherwise, Moscow would be forced to respond.
Emphasis on the Nuclear Triad and National Security
The President of Russia emphasized that the "nuclear triad" serves as the guarantee of his country's sovereignty and plays a central role in maintaining the global balance of power. Putin noted that the share of modern weapons in Russia's strategic missile forces has reached 92 percent, indicating Russia's readiness to confront external threats.
He also referred to the development of air defense systems and the completion of the orbital satellite constellation as priorities for Russia's future programs, stressing that these actions will enhance reconnaissance capabilities and force management.
Putin, referring to the situation in Ukraine, said: "Is it logical for a country that is mired in corruption to be the main defender of democracy in Europe?" He criticized the government in Kyiv, stating that this regime has turned into a dictatorship and is only seeking to maintain its power.
In conclusion, Putin emphasized that Russia has no aggressive intentions towards Europe and there is no reason for such actions. He urged Western countries to seek peaceful ways to resolve disputes instead of escalating tensions.
