The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Saudi Arabia, Enayati, addressed regional security challenges and opportunities at a recent quadrilateral meeting in Tehran. He emphasized the necessity of forming a new security order in the region based on internal capabilities and cooperation among regional powers.
Need for Effective Cooperation
Enayati, referring to recent developments in the Middle East and their impact on regional security, stated: "Sustainable security must be established based on internal capabilities and cooperation among regional powers." He added that the participation of all influential actors in this area is also essential. According to him, in the current situation, regional powers must come closer together to solve security issues and increase their cooperation.

Key Role of Regional Powers
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointed to the key role of regional countries in sustainable security and said: "We must move towards a new security order that is based on mutual understanding and cooperation." He also noted that the increase in tensions and conflicts in the region has made dialogue and diplomacy more necessary than ever. Enayati emphasized that regional countries should focus on their common points instead of engaging in destructive rivalries and collaborate to ensure security and stability.
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of regional and international meetings in this regard and said: "Joint meetings can serve as a suitable platform for exchanging views and reaching effective agreements. These meetings provide a good opportunity for regional countries to work on their common challenges."
Finally, Enayati referred to the necessity of strengthening diplomatic and economic relations among countries as one of the pillars of sustainable security and added that these relations can help build trust among countries and consequently lead to regional stability and security.
