The field selection process for university entrance exam candidates has now become a precise and targeted process with the support and guidance of specialized consultants at 1,100 active centers of the Ministry of Education. Somayeh Sadat Ebrahimi, the Director General of Educational Affairs, Counseling, and Protection Against Social Harm of this ministry, announced the extensive activities of these centers across the country and emphasized that in each region, at least two centers are designated separately for girls and boys.

Support for University Entrance Exam Candidates with 4,600 Specialized Consultants

Ebrahimi explained that more than 4,600 specialized consultants are working at these centers. These consultants have received their certificates and licenses to operate after participating in empowerment courses and passing specialized exams, and they are now providing counseling services to students. Each consultant can cover an average of 25 to 30 students and assist them in selecting their fields.

Details of Counseling Sessions and Costs

The Director General of Educational Affairs also mentioned the duration allocated for each candidate, stating: "According to the guidelines for university entrance exam field selection services, an average of 2 counseling sessions is planned for each candidate, with each session lasting about 90 minutes. If necessary, additional sessions and services can also be provided." These services are offered at approved and government rates so that families can benefit from them.

Ebrahimi also noted that field selection centers are not only located in education consultation centers but also operate in one of the second-cycle high schools in each region, selected in coordination with the regional counseling experts. This initiative helps families benefit from the expertise of consultants and carry out the field selection process in the best possible way.

With these measures, the Ministry of Education aims to assist university entrance exam candidates in selecting fields that match their abilities and conditions. These solutions can have a positive impact on students' educational and career futures and help them stay on the right path.
