The U.S. government led by Donald Trump, in a new press conference, has referred to the critical state of relations with Iran and discussed the possibility of an attack on the country. These remarks come as diplomatic efforts to reach an agreement between Tehran and Washington have reached a deadlock.

Iranian Delegation Leaves New York

Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, on Monday, September 28 (October 6), informed the Iranian delegation headed by Abbas Araghchi that they must leave New York immediately. This decision was made after negotiations between Iran and the U.S., which were being mediated by Qatar, did not yield results. An American official stated that the time for the Iranian delegation's presence in New York had expired and they could no longer remain at the United Nations General Assembly. The Iranian delegation, including Abbas Araghchi, was quickly transported to the airport and left New York for Doha at 1:20 AM on Tuesday.

Trump's Remarks and Outlook on Tensions

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in response to a question about the possibility of an agreement with the Islamic Republic, said: "Maybe we will blow them up." He also indicated that the U.S. must decide between attacking and reaching an agreement with Iran, and this situation will come to an end soon. Trump, without providing further details about potential actions against Iran, referred to the country's poor economic situation and the devastation caused by recent tensions. He claimed that Iran's military forces have been severely weakened and that the United States has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump also announced that in recent days, the volume of oil shipments passing through the Strait of Hormuz has been unprecedented. This comes as the Islamic Republic has always emphasized its control over this waterway and considers its conditions not to have returned to the state before the recent war. Despite Trump's strong statements, efforts to reach an agreement between Tehran and Washington continue, and Qatari mediators are in contact with both sides.

Currently, tensions between Iran and the United States are expected to peak. Many analysts believe that Trump's statements and the pressures on Iran may lead to an escalation of military and political tensions in the region. This concerning situation could have serious repercussions for the security and stability of the Middle East.
