The car market on October 24, 2026, returned to its upward trajectory, showing a significant increase in prices in this sector. While domestic products experienced the highest price increases, assembled products also faced price hikes, albeit to a lesser extent compared to domestic cars.
Reasons for the increase in car prices
Disruptions in trade routes and rising import and transportation costs have put additional pressure on the car supply chain. Experts believe that the shift in trade routes between Iran and the UAE towards Oman, due to increased logistics and transportation costs, has ultimately raised the final price of cars. Thus, the car market in the second half of this year is in a state of stagflation, where prices have stabilized at high levels but transaction volumes have decreased.

Future outlook for the car market
With the continued upward trend in exchange rates, potential sanctions, and transportation restrictions, it seems that car prices will still be influenced by these factors in the coming months. If political tensions escalate, there is a possibility of further price increases. In this situation, buyers will need time to accept new prices, and the overall state of the car market appears uncertain in the near future.
