Colonel Siavash Mohabi, head of the Traffic Police of Faraja, recently announced the launch of the 'Speed Management Notification' system. This system is designed to identify and quickly address drivers who are driving at critical speeds on the roads. With this initiative, the police hope to preserve the lives of drivers and other road users.
Functionality of the Speed Management Notification System
The Speed Management Notification system, as soon as it identifies a vehicle passing in front of fixed smart cameras at critical speed, sends the vehicle's image, specifications, and recorded speed in real-time to the nearest police patrol team. This information is made available to officers so they can quickly identify and stop the offending vehicles. This process not only helps identify speed violations but also enables monitoring of vehicles with damaged or stolen plates, as well as vehicles that do not have their plates installed.

According to the planned schedule, in the next 10 days, all transportation routes in the provinces of the country will be equipped with this system. Colonel Mohabi emphasized that the main goal of the police is not just to enforce the law, but to work towards preventing accidents and reducing traffic violations.
With the launch of this system, the police aim to create deterrence among drivers and reduce road accidents. According to Colonel Mohabi, dealing with traffic violations should be aimed at increasing safety on the roads and reducing fatal accidents. This system can help the police effectively prevent accidents by quickly identifying offenders.
The Speed Management Notification system acts as a modern tool in traffic control and road safety, and it is hoped that with its full utilization, accidents and traffic incidents will be minimized. Given the increasing number of vehicles and traffic volume in the country, such initiatives can be a significant step towards preserving human lives and reducing road incidents.
