Michel Aoun, the President of Lebanon, in an important meeting with Emmanuel Macron, his French counterpart, discussed ways to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime on Lebanon. These discussions, which took place amid increasing tensions in the region, particularly emphasized the need to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, and oil and gas.

The Necessity of Stopping Attacks and Regional Security

In this meeting, Michel Aoun stressed the urgent importance of stopping the attacks of the Zionist regime and called for international support to calm the situation in Lebanon. He also referred to the damages these attacks have inflicted on Lebanon's infrastructure and the lives of its people. Aoun believes that the continuation of these attacks not only harms Lebanon's security but could also lead to instability in the entire region.

Furthermore, Emmanuel Macron assured his Lebanese counterpart that France is ready to support Lebanon in this regard. Macron referred to his country's commitment to assist Lebanon in this critical situation and emphasized the importance of international cooperation to resolve this crisis.

Opportunities for Economic Cooperation

The discussions between the two presidents also addressed areas of economic cooperation between Lebanon and France. In this context, Aoun and Macron emphasized the necessity of strengthening trade relations and joint investments. The President of Lebanon particularly highlighted the fields of energy, oil, and gas as important opportunities for cooperation and urged Macron to have France act as a strategic partner in these areas.

These discussions come at a time when Lebanon is undergoing one of its toughest economic crises and requires more international support. The President of Lebanon told Macron: "We welcome any cooperation with France and hope that these collaborations can help improve Lebanon's economic situation."

At the end of this meeting, both presidents emphasized the continuation of dialogues and bilateral cooperation and pointed out that only through collaboration and solidarity can the current crises be resolved. This meeting reflects the serious determination of Lebanon and France to confront the upcoming challenges and create a better future for the people of both countries.
