He noted that a significant portion of the issues and needs of international students arise due to the lack of appropriate planning in this area.
Challenges Faced by International Students
This official pointed to the challenges that foreign students face in Iran and stated: "The existing disarray in welfare, social, and educational services can seriously harm the educational experience of these students." He specifically mentioned the social and cultural needs of these students and added that many of them suffer from a lack of support networks.

The Necessity of Creating Appropriate Infrastructure
The Deputy for Scholarships and International Students Affairs emphasized the necessity of creating appropriate infrastructure to support international students and said: "We must design educational and cultural programs in such a way that these students feel a greater sense of belonging to Iranian society." According to him, these programs could include Persian language courses, cultural and artistic workshops, as well as opportunities for collaboration with other universities.
He further pointed to the importance of establishing communication between universities and governmental and non-governmental organizations and added: "The development of collaborations and social networks can help strengthen international relations and also improve the quality of life for students." This official also spoke about the necessity of holding international seminars and conferences to create a space for exchanging experiences and opinions among students and professors.
Positive Outcomes of Appropriate Planning
With the implementation of effective and targeted programs, we can witness an increase in the satisfaction of international students and an improvement in the image of Iranian universities on an international level. This action will not only help attract more foreign students but can also have a positive impact on the quality of education and research in the country.
