Nurturing Talents from Student Years
The head of the Qom Elite Foundation noted that the process of nurturing talents should start from student years, and education plays a primary role in this regard. The Elite Foundation helps identify top talents with programs like the Shahab plan and provides the necessary environment for their academic growth after they enter university.
Montazeri also referred to the necessity of creating a chain of talent nurturing, stating that top talents grow in universities and engage in research and studies under the guidance of mentor professors. The Elite Foundation strives to direct these elites towards solving the country's problems.
Mission-Oriented Approach of Universities
He emphasized that elites must be capable of solving the country's problems and mentioned that the new approach of universities should be mission-oriented and future-oriented. Montazeri announced the definition of 9 scientific missions in various fields, including governance, industry and technology, economy, and livelihood, stating that these missions contribute to improving the country's situation.
The head of the Qom Elite Foundation also referred to the establishment of think tanks in various fields, stating that these think tanks address scientific and technological issues and provide practical solutions. In this context, programs to attract elites in agriculture and animal husbandry are also underway.
The Importance of Cultural and Identity Dimensions
Montazeri emphasized the importance of cultural and identity dimensions in the process of nurturing top talents, stating that alongside scientific and financial support, elites should also become familiar with the history and civilization of Iran to ensure that their growth process has multiple dimensions. The new approach of the Elite Foundation focuses on quality, aiming to enhance the quality and impact of elites.
