The Head of the Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs Center of Iran's Ministry of Interior, in his latest statements, explained the conditions for registering immigrant students in the country's schools. These statements can be encouraging for parents who have incomplete documents. According to him, having a passport alone is not sufficient for residency, and specific conditions have been set for registering children.
Facilitating Conditions for Students with Incomplete Documents
In this regard, the Head of the Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs Center emphasized that the parents of immigrant students can register their children in schools by providing their identification and identity documents. This action is aimed at facilitating the educational process for children who may not have been able to obtain complete documents due to special circumstances.
He added that this program is specifically designed for children whose parents are in poor economic conditions and unable to provide complete documents. Thus, the education system is striving to prevent these children from dropping out of school and to give them the opportunity to continue their education.
Required Documents for Registration
For registration, parents must provide documents such as their birth certificate and national ID card. Additionally, if they do not have identification documents, they can receive assistance through supportive and social organizations in this regard. This action may mean that even if a family cannot provide complete documents, they can still register their children in schools.
The Head of the Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs Center pointed out that this decision was made with the aim of improving the level of education and reducing the dropout rate among immigrant students. It seems that this action can improve the educational status of these children and provide better opportunities for their future.
Finally, he emphasized the importance of solidarity and cooperation among various organizations in this field and added that education, as one of the main pillars of society, has a significant responsibility towards these students. By creating facilitating processes, it is hoped that a brighter future can be shaped for the future generations of this country.
