South Pars, Iran's largest gas field, has returned to production. Ahmad Zareatkhar, Deputy Minister of Oil for Planning, stated that the production capacity of this field is gradually returning to normal, detailing the implemented plans for this return.

Efforts to Restore Production Capacity

Zareatkhar announced that after damages caused by various conditions, the Ministry of Oil has put a plan in place to restore the production capacity of South Pars. He noted that "with the efforts of our colleagues, some units returned to operation earlier than the scheduled timeline." Investigations show that by the end of September, about 50% of the damaged capacity of this field has become operational and production has resumed in this sector.

Financing Projects and the Role of the Public

Zareatkhar also referred to the role of financial groups in financing projects and added: "Four domestic financing projects have been established within one of the largest financings in the country, and reconstruction operations are progressing accordingly." He emphasized that the planned programs for restoring capacity will be carried out according to a specific timeline and all programs will be completed before the winter season begins.

The Deputy Minister of Oil for Planning concluded by mentioning the role of consumers in overcoming the current conditions and urged the public to help advance this program by conserving energy. He said: "People can assist us on this path by cooperating and saving energy." These statements reflect the importance of collaboration among various sectors of society to meet the country's energy needs.
