In this meeting, two main topics were discussed. The first topic was related to how to engage with Iran. Sisi believes that dialogue between the two countries should be deepened to achieve common interests and increase pressure on the U.S. to stop the war and reduce the economic blockade against Tehran. Egypt also believes that Saudi Arabia should leverage its diplomatic relations to help reduce tensions.

Sisi also urged bin Salman to avoid entering into severe military conflicts that could complicate the situation. He stated that Egypt is not inclined to engage in wars that lack clear objectives, but emphasized that military support would be provided if necessary. He also pointed out that prolonged military conflicts cannot be resolved through weapons and require negotiation.
This meeting comes at a time when Egypt is trying to propose a plan to reduce tensions and prevent Saudi Arabia from entering prolonged conflicts in Yemen. Informed sources reported that this meeting arose as an opportunity to discuss details and clarify ambiguities regarding Cairo's proposed plans.
Simultaneously with these developments, Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, is expected to visit Cairo soon, with the Yemen issue at the top of the agenda for this visit. These visits and negotiations are part of joint efforts to create stability in the region and reduce tensions.
