Seyyed Ahmad Alavi, the head of the Tourism Committee of the Tehran City Council, announced that one of the main goals of the urban management in the recent period is to restore the recreational infrastructure and amusement parks that have been closed or unused for a long time. These actions are aimed at creating more opportunities for citizens' leisure time and improving the quality of life in the capital.
Reviving Old Amusement Parks
In this regard, Alavi said: "For example, the Basij amusement park, which is considered a nostalgic capacity in East Tehran, has been closed for about six to seven years, and we have worked to reactivate its infrastructure." This action demonstrates the serious determination of urban management to revive old complexes and improve recreational conditions in Tehran.

Increasing the Number of Amusement Parks
The head of the Tourism Committee of the Tehran City Council also announced that in addition to reviving old complexes, six new amusement parks will be added to the recreational capacities of the city. This development will also include the Abbasabad complex, and the goal is to create diversity and greater access to recreational facilities for all citizens.
Alavi emphasized that these actions are aimed at improving the quality of life for people and creating more opportunities for leisure time. He also referred to the development of tourist buses for routes related to Tehran's cultural and identity heritage, adding: "With this action, citizens can connect more with the historical and tourist capacities of the capital."
Attention to Museums and Recreational Spaces
Furthermore, Alavi referred to the status of museums in Tehran, stating that not all museums are closed, and those that needed to transfer their artifacts to secure storage are currently undergoing this process. He emphasized that special attention should be paid to the development of recreational and tourism spaces in various neighborhoods of Tehran to make citizens' access to these facilities more balanced.
It seems that with these actions, the urban management of Tehran is seeking to create a suitable and accessible recreational space for all citizens. With the revival of amusement parks and the development of tourism facilities, we hope that the capital of Iran will become a more attractive recreational destination and that citizens can make the best use of their leisure time.
